Last week I was asked to help out at the Sayulitanimals spay and neuter clinic. I was freaked out at first, but after awhile I got used to it! It was so cool! The doctors and volunteers first put the dogs/cats in kennels and then give them anesthesia.

I got a new puppy last month named Navi. She is a mix, some Lab, maybe some Blue Heeler. She is going to be big! We met her at SayulitAnimals. She and her brothers and sisters were dropped off at the front door. Every one of them got adopted. It is a big deal adopting a dog; this is the first one I have adopted myself. It is not all fun and chew toys; there are things to think about when adopting a dog.

Hey guys! I know a store that is one my favorite stores, it is called Revolucion del Sueño! I wanted to know more about the store and its owners so I asked if I could interview them for the El Sayulero because as a kid it is very cool to look at things that are very colorful and I like their designs. When I got to Revolucion del Sueño these are the questions I asked:

Sopes are little bowls of corn dough that are baked on a griddle and
then filled with toppings. They make excellent pizzas for an after school snack you can make yourself!

The other night my family and I had Mr. Steve and Miss Laura over at our house for dinner.  When we were finished it started to rain, hard. Our house started leaking so we started pushing water out of our house. Then it started to pour rain and it started to flood. When we got most of the water out, Mr. Steve and Miss Laura left to check out their house.

Hi there!  I am back in school here in Sayulita, Mexico. I'm so excited to be back, for many different reasons. I thought I'd write down a few and share them, maybe you feel the same way!

My favorite drink is a Mango Lassi. I like it because it tastes good and it is easy to make if you're a little thirsty and a little hungry and your parents are sleeping.  Since there are lots of mangos in Sayulita right now, it's not expensive to get mangos, in fact you can get mangos for free! My school, Costa Verde, has lots of mangos falling from the trees.

Sunday, my friends, parents and I went on a camping trip near Mascota, Jalisco. It took 3 hours to get from Sayulita to Mascota. When we got to the campsite we put up our tents and put everything where it needed to be. We had tons of food and sweets. After that we started making dinner, had vegetarian Sloppy Joe's and cake. Then we made a campfire and gathered sticks to roast gigantic marshmallows.

The greatest thing about Sayulita is that there are lots of beaches. Since it is summer vacation we can go to different beaches everyday!  The beaches I like are Enclote, Litibu, La Lancha, Sayulita Beach and Los Muertos.

School is out and we kids have been doing the summer vacation types of things in Sayulita. There has been a lot of swimming, both in the ocean and in people's pools...and eating candy.

Last month, my school here in Sayulita - Costa Verde International School - decided to take the 4th, 5th and 6th graders on a field trip to the Volcano named Ceboruco. The drive to the volcano from Sayulita takes about three hours. We drove north through lava fields, saw many types of cactus and agave fields, and drove into the mountains.

Today seemed really hot and I wanted a cool sweet treat. Here in Sayulita there are lots of delicious snacks, like Helado, Paletas, Agua Frescas and Respados. Helado is ice cream, Paletas are yummy popsicles and Respados are shaved ice. I decided I wanted to go to my favourite ice cream place, Wakika.

My friend Heather came to Sayulita for a visit. She wanted to get a present for herself since it is her 30 birthday. She didn't want a pearl necklace or a dress this time. She missed her cat at home in Portland, Oregon. The cat's name is Mr. Meoggi and he is 12 years old. We have six cats at our house and I think she was a little homesick.
