Ribeye Steak at Don Juan
A visit to Don Juan, or several, will give you the opportunity to dine in an excellent restaurant that is functioning at the very top of its game. This rib eye steak was savory and tender and well grilled to the exact done-ness I had asked for. The sauce was light and piquant, the vegetables were actually cooked and the mashed potatoes were fluffy and light. On top of the steak were crispy onion slivers as thin as can be.

And that isn't all. Service is very pleasant, drinks are excellent and the restaurant is quiet and in a most romantic setting. Sure it's a bit out of the way on the Punta Mita highway, but the bright side of that is you always can get a parking space right in front of the restaurant.

We shared a dessert-bread pudding--rich, gooey and very special. Try to save a bit of your appetite for this.

Una visita a Don Juan, o varios, le dará la oportunidad de cenar en un excelente restaurante que funciona en la parte superior de su juego. Este filete de costilla era sabroso y tierno a la parrilla bien al hecho exacta-dad que había pedido. La salsa era luz y picante, las verduras se cocinan en realidad y el puré de papas eran suaves y ligeros. En la parte superior de la carne eran crujientes rodajas de cebolla tan delgadas como puede ser.

Y eso no es todo. El servicio es muy agradable, bebidas son excelentes y el restaurante es tranquilo y en un ambiente más romántico. Claro que es un poco fuera del camino en la carretera Punta Mita, pero el lado bueno de esto es que siempre se puede obtener una plaza de aparcamiento justo en frente del restaurante.

Compartimos un postre budín de pan - pegajoso rico, y muy especial. Trate de ahorrar un poco de su apetito por esto.
