Pacific Smoked Meats, based in Punta de Mita, is getting ready for the upcoming holiday season, with Thanksgiving next week and Christmas just around the corner. Owner of Pacific Smoked Meats, Darrell Douglas, says his packaged smoked meat selection have become a popular food item in the Punta de Mita and Sayulita areas.

Robert Comings, the chef behind the smoked meat cooker, is an award-winning chef in Australia originally from Southern California, who studied culinary arts at Sullivan University in Kentucky. After moving to Australia and owning and operating "Baja Cantina" for 6 years, Robert has moved to Punta de Mita with Darrell Douglas as both are taking on the packaged smoked meat business, which they expect to be successful, as their smoked meat selection is in demand from Bahia de Banderas to Guadalajara.

Pacific Smoked Meats offers everything from smoked turkeys, pork shoulder, beef, seafood and even smoked cheeses.
